How To Rejuvenate Sensitive Skin?

Are you prone to dry/sensitive skin? Have you tried and tested numerous products on the market but to no avail? Anyone who takes pride in personal grooming will no doubt continue her quest for a reliable product that she can comfortably call her beauty staple. Whether you are a busy professional, stay-at-home mum, or workaholic as most of us are, our beauty rituals could easily slip through our fingers amongst a hefty work load if we allow them to. Who wants to look or feel like a hot mess? I certainly do not. In fact, I feel more motivated to work and more confident when I dedicate only 15-30 minutes to my beauty regime before I commence my day which includes cleansing and moisturising my face.

I have been using Bioderma’s ultra-rich foaming gel over the last two weeks. It is suitable for very dry to atopic, sensitive skin. My skin feels dehydrated most of the time. I think the latter is due to suffering from severe eczema as a child. Thus, it is a challenge to find the right products that keep my face moist and revitalised from morning to evening. Bioderma products, however, are highly productive – I don’t say that lightly! In the morning and just before I go to bed, I have been applying a small amount of Bioderma’s Hydrabio H20 Micelle Solution to a cotton wool pad with which I gently remove any makeup – the initial stage of the cleansing process. It has a natural scent and feels light on my face. Hydrabio H20 is the only dermatological micellar that is water compatible with the skin.

I then wash my face with Bioderma’s ultra-rich foaming gel, which is extremely gentle. Only a small amount is needed on damp skin to produce a decent amount of lather. Subsequently, the gel reinforces the skin barrier. I haven’t tried any of Bioderma’s moisturising products; otherwise, I would naturally use one to complete my regime. Despite the latter, I have noticed a difference in the way my skin feels since using Bioderma products. My skin feels hydrated and less tight.

For extra protection against environmental stressors, I have started to use City Protect Incellium Spray. At first, I was a little apprehensive about using different beauty products altogether due to my meticulous approach to skincare. However, it appears that protective sprays are becoming increasingly popular, hence, the latest beauty trend. I use City Protect InCellium Spray a few times during the day – spray over the face, body and hair from 20 cm distance. It is immediately uplifting, especially when feeling tired—a two-in-one product, protecting your skin against the environment and reinvigorating.

City Protect Spray, in my opinion, is the must-have product for one’s survival kit during fashion week. I have found my ‘beauty’ angels, it seems, who have injected a much needed vibrant glow into my skin. I am pretty confident that Bioderma and City Protect will enhance your inner glow too.
