Why The Katie Piper Collection Is A Fashion Sizzler?

Have you replenished your wardrobe with seasonable must-haves? If not, I seriously suggest you get a move on while summer is here, well – almost. There’s nothing more refreshing than a colourful wardrobe of prints and vibrant shades. That said, I would like to confess that I have a love-hate relationship with flamboyant colours and prints. I used to wear outlandish outfits. Over the years, I have pared-down my style, but I still appreciate the occasional quirky detail. The latter could be an accessory or a form of embellishment but gone are the days when I would wear various styles and colours altogether. Monochrome with a dash of red is the signature colour of my wardrobe at the moment. Most of us find comfort in wearing black as it is so convenient. However, the latter becomes tedious hence the need for a spring clean. Belle PR introduced me to The Katie Piper Collection, and yes – I love it. There is something for everyone – a diverse range of colours, prints and styles to suit those with classic or quirky taste. Some fashion brands are like marmite – you either love or hate them. The Katie Piper Collection is uncomplicated, however, and has instant appeal as there is sufficient choice for any occasion. Furthermore, it is an affordable alternative to shopping at the usual go-to high-street stores. I wore The Katie Piper Pink Ruffle Layer Dress in pastel pink to a fashion presentation at the Bankside Gallery hosted by Siah Howard L’Atelier Couture.

The style of the dress was perfect for the occasion – demure and elegant. The length of the dress is quite short, but the ruffle layer sleeves and upper part of the dress make up for the short hem. Women of all ages would feel comfortable in this style of dress and – on-trend -and would not need to worry about showing too much flesh. Pastel or neutral outfits are easy on the eyes, too, despite your skin tone, and they tend to complement metallic, nude, and black accessories, including shoes, for a sharp contrast. It was refreshing to wear a bright colour instead of black although I could not resist a pair of monochrome, star-print heels and a black clutch to complete my ensemble. As a further suggestion, a pair of nude or golden/silver shoes would look great with the dress.

The long, ruffle sleeves kept me warm and saved me at least 15 minutes of faffing to find a suitable jacket. The Katie Piper collection is available on www.wantthattrend.com. I love my dress as it is contemporary and sophisticated yet teases the imagination with its playful ruffles.
