Festival season is upon us, which means fun and frolicking in the sun and a sense of freedom. It is not necessary to get all glammed up for a festival as the vibe is pretty chilled. However, try not to neglect your sense of style entirely. My top tip is to rock casual with an element of glam. I attended a Strawberries & Creem all-day festival as a VIP guest on 17th June. That day was a scorcher, so I was chuffed to have found the perfect outfit to wear. I wanted something lightweight and comfortable in which to dance.

I expected a busy day, especially with Headliners Shaggy & Wiley, J Hus, and Artful Dodger, to name just a few. The key to looking festival chic is not only about style but feeling at ease in what you wear. The quality of fabric, therefore, contributes to the overall ‘feel-good’ factor of a garment. That said, I wore the stunning Tropical Flower tunic from NoLogo Chic that is made from 100% luxury cotton. The latter is ideal for hot weather. I felt relaxed the entire time, and the full-length sleeves keep you warm when temperatures drop in the evening. Multi-award winning designer Tina Malhame is the founder of NoLogo Chic and branded ‘The High Street Guru’ by fashion king George Davies, who started the fashion label “George at Asda” in the 1990s.

Tina Malhame is also known as the go-to designer for high-profile brands such as Per Uma, Monsoon, Next, and Laura Ashley. The tunic appears to be a favourite wardrobe staple this season among celebrities such as Jessica Alba and Kim Kardashian. I can understand why as it’s the perfect item of clothing for hotter climates. I wore my tunic with a cream belt adorned with a blue, floral print, which I cinched in at the waist. I like to add my creative spin to an outfit, which you can do with the right accessories such as a pair of shades and a lovely pair of shoes. Tina’s tunics are available in a variety of designs starting from just £99. I would invest in, at least, one tunic to complete your summer wardrobe. They are not only festival chic but versatile enough for any occasion. Who needs a logo to look on trend when NoLogo Chic is in?
